Snake-like Bird
This species, seen at Manuel Antonio National Park, looks like a snake at a distance, thereby protecting itself from predators. I didn't see the small beak until after I looked closely at the image on my computer at home.
Swimming in the Pacific Ocean
At Manuel Antonio National Park. The water was so warm and inviting, I was tempted to swim in my clothes as I hadn't brought my swimsuit.
