Seated Woman in a Chemise
My camera club challenge was to recreate a masterpiece. I chose Picasso's "Seated Woman in a Chemise", which he did in Paris in 1923. I used a wide-angle lens to try to make the model's arms and hands as large as the ones in Picasso's painting.
Femme Aux Bras Croises
The painting on the left was done by Picasso in 1902 during his "Blue Period". It sold for $55 million at Christie's Auction House in November 2000. My imitation with the help of a model is on the left.
